LONDRES - Le RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) vient d’annoncer la liste des six finalistes susceptibles de se faire attribuer le prestigieux Stirling Prize récompensant le meilleur édifice architectural de l’année au Royaume Uni.
Ces six finalistes sont :
Tower block for Swiss (Foster)
the Business Academy in the London suburb of Bexley (Foster)
the Kunsthaus (Cook and Fournier)
the ‘Spire’, Dublin (Ian Ritchie)
the Imperial War Museum North, Manchester (Daniel Libeskind)
the ‘Phoenix Initiative’, Coventry (MacCormac Jamieson Pritchard)
Il étonnant de constater la double nomination de Foster qui a ainsi de forte chances de l’emporter. Daniel Libeskind fera office d’outsider.
