
L’architecte américain Thom Mayne (Né le 19 janvier 1944) est le nouveau Pritker Prize 2005. Il succède à Zaha Hadid en 2004.
Thom Mayne est architecte et théoricien de l’agence américaine Morphosis, réputée pour son architecture déconstructiviste.
Thom Mayne considère la production de Morphosis comme une architecture locale inspirée des typologies des édifices californiens.
